Deep Tissue - a technique that utilizes deep-tissue/deep-muscle massage, administered to affect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia. It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendinitis. NMT - used to locate and release spasms and hyper contraction in the tissue, eliminate trigger points that cause referred pain, rebuild the strength of injured tissues, assist venous and lymphatic flow, and restore postural alignment, proper biomechanics, and flexibility to the tissues. Lymphatic Drainage - to palpate the lymphatic flow and assist the body in draining lymph nodes of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is the system inside your body that filters out and destroys toxins, bacteria, viruses, germs and passes them through the regional lymph nodes, where this fluid is filtered, purified and concentrated. Sports - designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery. There are three contexts in which sports massage can be useful to an athlete: pre-event, post-event, and injury treatment. Chair Massages - Seated massage is provided to the fully clothed client in a variety of settings, including businesses, airports, and street fairs. Massage has been shown to have a range of health benefits, from lowering blood pressure to easing migraines. Research has demonstrated that it may help relieve pain for patients with cancer, HIV, and Parkinson's disease. Massage can also help lower stress, which is a good thing for overall health.
