We hired Carlos to make sense of all our aerial photographs of wind damage to UK forests. This was a huge task with hundreds of photographs. In addition there was no orthorectification. Carlos systematically worked through all the photographs, scanning them, adjusting them for distortion from the camera and orthorectifying them so they were spatially corrected. This allowed the photographs to be matched accurately to the management units in the forest. His work enabled us to evaluate the levels of damage in UK forests and to validate wind risk models. Carlos conducted the work with a minimum of supervision. The work was completed on time and the results are completely reliable. His efforts converted hundreds of aerial photographs of little value into a very powerful set of data for our research efforts. I recommend Carlos extremely highly.
