I worked as a mechanical designer at the university's laboratory, on a project for testing hydraulic valves for oil well drilling equipment. The idea was to develop a test bench that could simulate the work conditions found in deep-sea, and to stress the valves in different ways until they fail, and they analyzing which kind of stress have a bigger impact on the valve's lifetime. The main activities for the team which I was part of: Define and adjust the hydraulic circuit for the testbench; Define the materials and needed components resistance; Design the equipment and piping using the software SolidWorks; Contact equipment suppliers and adjust the project needs to what the market could offer; Assist the valves and components assembly into the testbench; and getting the testbench ready to be tested by the experimental team.

I worked in an automation system where two different benches simulated a assemble line. My team's job was to make both systems work together and to create a single disassembly line that could work with both other systems at the same time.I was responsible for the mechanical part of the activity. Working together with the automation team, I defined the positions for the robotic arm, designed and developed a disassembly device and the structure for the system I worked in an automation system where two different benches simulated a assemble line.
