Currently, I'm the Cofounder of the startup Liight (we are 2 Cofounders), an app that tries to motivate citizens to be more sustainable in their daily lives. Liight rewards sustainable actions such as walking, riding a bike, using public transport or recycling. These actions are validated through complex algorithms based on Artificial Intelligence and smart city systems (all programmed and designed by me) and for some cases, the smartphone detects the activity automatically without the need to even start the app. The rewards are Liights, a virtual coin that can be exchanged for discounts in different products and services. Also, the app uses gamification techniques (reaching new levels, blocking parts of the app or discounts until users reach a certain level, competitions with their friends or the world, challenges, etc.) to motivate users. The team is currently made up of 3 people working full time, 2 working part time and another 2 working as freelancers with a part time workload. Our user acquisition and retention metrics position us within the best 0.1% apps in Google Play, having been ranked by Google as the 9th best social App on the Spanish Play Store. Show less
