I worked with Carlos on a collaboration between Transconsult and Gehl to provide recommendations for a new mass transit system in Cochabamba, Bolivia. During the course of the project Carlos was a complete pleasure to work with - competent and knowledgeable in urban planning and architecture, urban design and the public realm, writing, graphics, community engagement in the field, and above all a kind, fun, and sincere person to collaborate with. I am looking forward to whenever we have the chance to work together again and I would recommend him to anyone.

I can define Carlos as a comprehensive urbanist. He always designed for people, his ideas were ever considering every single user involved in the interaction of a city. As coordinator, he was a collaborative leader. He always knew how to lead his team to the companies' goals, solving problems with their best performance, and directing them to provide new ideas. Carlos was always open to help other teams. Even when I was working for a different team, he demonstrated an engagement with the company, delivering solutions wherever his extensive knowledge was required.
