I have worked with Carlos for about 3 years. During that time I was able to interact with Carlos in a daily basis, since I reported to him my tasks and activities and he was responsible for managing several projects where I was involved. Above all, Carlos is a highly empathic person. I experienced his strong ability to create a positive impact on people around him, while always showing interest in the professional growth and well-being of those people. Across this time, Carlos always communicated effectively and clearly with the team, enabling the projects to unfold smoothly and allowing each team member to be focus and motivated on their respective tasks. The fact he is very keen on technology and innovation clearly added value to his work vision and creativity. Carlos combines all these abilities with a strong technical background. As a result, Carlos was also able support the team and provide valuable guidance several times and in different technical domains. This experience was a key enabler to improve the communication with people within the team from different areas and backgrounds. As an example of the application of his capabilities, Carlos successfully managed an extensive release program, comprising several HW and SW features, that was developed by many interdisciplinary teams across the world. Personally, I was lucky and benefited from crossing paths with such a great person, and outstanding project and team manager! I deeply believe Carlos brings important value and contribution to any team or project he may be involved.

I had the opportunity to work with Carlos for more than a decade, in different projects, in different roles, and I've always seen him as a leader and as a mentor. Before I joined an opportunity in another company, I was part of a development team reporting to Carlos, and at the same time, he was managing a release of a multi-disciplinary solution where the development project I was working on was inserted. In both scenarios, I consider Carlos a servant leader. Carlos is someone able of instill a vision, set the goals and priorities, while letting the team choose its own path to reach those objectives. Carlos acts most of the times a facilitator, creating a safe environment for the team to be autonomous, but he also knows when to challenge the team, promote critical thinking and helping the team to find the best possible solution, within the time and budget constraints. As result, our team was able to explore several innovative ideas, to participate in several challenging projects relevant to the business, improve our own development processes, and granting us recognition from several areas within the organization. I definitely recommend Carlos to any organization looking for someone that has the ability to create teams that are motivated, pro-active, sustainable and more importantly, focused in creating value for the company.
