President and CEO Albert Maglutac has been involved in the trade for over 30 years and has established worldwide contacts for the supply of the products which Meadowlark trades. Vice President Carlos Maglutac was involved in the early formation of the industry after its deregulation in the 80’s and continues to provide support for the trade. As a family corporation it continues the business established by Jesus Maglutac in 1960’s holding representations for IMC Fertilizers, Phosphate Rock and Phosphate Chemicals Export Associations and Canpotex Ltd., export arm of Canada’s Potash industry.
