As a Target Security Specialist, I work with the rest of the security team in ensuring that the building is safe and secure while preventing theft and fraud. Part of the routines and duties as a security specialist would include daily internal/external routines and inventory audits on the inventory of a multi million dollar warehouse. I would also have to investigate and research into cases with our various programs & video camera footage, both live surveillance and reviewing past footage for potential fraudulent behavior. On occasion, partnership with other team members of different departments or department operational managers would be necessary to help with the research of products, procedures or incidents where the safety of the building was at risk. The observations and findings would be placed in an online Case Management System that can be used, if necessary, in legal court system.
