For two years (from 2009 to 2011) I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Carlos on defining, developing and operating all hardware and network infrastructure at StudentUniverse. Carlos is one of those rare individuals who are both knowledgeable, humble and enthusiastic. Despite his relatively few years as a systems engineer he already has wide and deep knowledge of all aspects of our complex high volume website and critical world-wide ICT system. Yet he is always willing to study and acquire new knowledge, and always wiilling to put in the extra effort needed to excel and suceed. He is also a very nice person, who I hope to retain as a friend for years to come. In short, I consider myself lucky to have worked with Carlos, and happily recommend him and his work.

As an Information Manager, I held a secret-level clearance and my responsibilities varied from reviewing and updating unit operations and correspondences, to creating statistical summaries and reports. I was also tasked with operating on and managing digital data, input/output of information and maintenance of files throughout their entire life cycle from creation and dissemination to disposition. I also managed the computer hardware and software attached to my group. An information manager is in essence the military equivalent to a first level desktop support technician. Show less
