  Managed the social protection portfolio of the ILO in Vietnam, including strategic planning, fundraising, research, relations with stakeholders, and technical advice to the Government. Most of my work focused on the reform of the Social Insurance Law, which implied a very close relationship with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly. The law was passed by the National Assembly in 2014 and included several reforms proposed by the ILO, like extending coverage and modifying the pension system, based on the ILO actuarial valuation study that I managed. Beyond social insurance, I participated in the ILO assessment of the Social Protection Floor in Vietnam and wrote a briefing note about the impact of non-contributory pensions. Show less
