OVERVIEW Responsible for procurement of new business in line with sales strategies and revenue growth requirements of the company. The role requires me to be innovative since every customer has different challenges. Each solution is therefore unique in solving specific needs and challenges. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES New Sales Sector Key Account & Special Projects • New Business Development Local and International • Maintenance and Expansion of Existing Customer base (±R180 Million per Annum)-Include Northern Mozambique • Logistical Management • Annual Price Increases, Calculations and Implementation • Setting of targets, budgets and forecasting. • Identify opportunities to determine where sales must be focused in order to achieve group sales target • Work with each business unit in the group to assist with identifying areas of growth. Customer Liaison • Resolution of customer complaints by acting as liaison between operations (and other functions) and the customers • Debtors’ collections as required by debtors ageing analysis. • Customer surveys and information to customers • Annual Price Increases, Calculations and Implementation • Key Account Management • Contract Negotiations • Solutions Architect • Tenders • Estimating ISO 14001 and other environmental compliance of all contracts entered into • Analysis and sampling of waste products in conjunction with Environmental and Chemical departments • Establish correct handling and disposal methods and ensuring these are entered in the Sales database correctly that generates the necessary documents • Educate and informing customers of the relevant legislation governing their products Safety of representatives and self • Ensure all have done Safety Induction training • All required safety induction and equipment are available before doing site visits • Responsible for the safety of others by ensuring that all products quoted for are correctly analysed to ensure safe handling and classification Show less
