Carlos Castellanos has an enviable ability to balance his intimate knowledge of technical detail with his clear understanding of the big picture. His work to balance the overall vision for Lions Creek Crossings with the complex technical issues has been brilliant. He was able to obtain funding for the creek restoration and a community park at the heart of the project, while proceeding with multiple phases of mixed-use affordable housing development. I have been impressed by his management of his EBALDC team in the years since we worked together and with his ability to build and maintain a staff of extraordinary professionals.
