      As part of several research teams, I drew from the fields of Political Science, Policial Communication and Media Psychology to conduct multiple public opinion studies mostly on sociopolitical issues, events and themes, but also I coordinated studies on psychosocial characteristics associated with exposure, reception and sharing of real and fake news in social media and WhatsApp. All of these studies received extensive media coverage. We collaborated as a community to identify the top 10 high-impact and most pressing questions concerning disinformation.       A Costa Rican private and nonprofit organization dedicated to the fulfillment of the rights of underage persons in Costa Rica. I was part of the Unit of Technological Initiatives, where I execute a youth directed campaign focused on delegitimizing violence in Cyberspace, and also promoting a safe, responsible, and productive use of the Internet. Also, I collaborated with other research activities executed by this Unit: 1) I coordinated a group of Costa Rican researchers in the development of the document: Conceptual and methodological approximations for researching with children and adolescents in cyberspace. 2) Method design and data analysis for the implementation in Costa Rica of the Coaching You Coaching Them initiative: An information action strategy focused on strengthening the capacity of parents and teachers to accompany children and adolescents in their virtual interactions. 3) Virtual survey: Violence in Costa Rican schools, perceptions and proposals from adolescence. The realization of this survey was requested by the President of Costa Rica. 4) Implementation and analysis of Suave un Toque: A virtual action research campaign for the promotion of a culture of peace and a prevention of violence within a population of adolescent users of information and communication technologies.
