I had the pleasure of working with Carlos Alonso as his HR business partner in his role as Senior Vice President and President, International at Hillrom. Carlos was responsible for the turnaround of the international business utilizing tremendous strategic thinking, business acumen, and inspirational leadership. Carlos has unmatched energy and was constantly thinking of how to improve business results. He aligned the team on the mission, vision, and strategy and had unwavering focus in helping the team achieve goals. Carlos cared about his people and treated his functional partners as members of the team. Carlos displayed the head, heart, and guts needed to achieve goals and created a culture that was both motivating and encouraging. I appreciated the time spent with Carlos and learned a great deal. No matter what goals Carlos sets for himself in the future, success is most definitely on the horizon.

I had a pleasure to work with Carlos in Baxter for 3 years. His professionalism, energy, integrity, business and market vision, communication & relationship skills and concern about people development make it grateful and a pleasure to work with. Carlos is a result driven person, focused on quality and customer satisfaction and definitively know how to motivate and reward his team to get it. Beside all of that Carlos is a pleasant person to work with, intelligent conversations, sophisticated sense of humor and family values. I learned a lot with him!
