  Won bid to act as concessionaire responsible for all aspects of this community owned two-season resort and day lodge located in the Boulder Mountains at the northern terminus of the 20-mile Harriman trail which is part of the North Valley trail system. The historic lodge has a colorful history and is surrounded by incredible trails and natural beauty. Open daily during the summer months we offered mountain biking (trails, rentals, lessons), clothing and gear, 5-day youth adventure camps, daily lunch, Sunday brunch, full service on-site catered private parties and weddings, wagon ride barbecue dinners, wildflower walks, and events such as the Galena Grinder mountain bike race. During the winter months the lodge acted as a cozy home base for cross-country and backcountry skiers and snowshoers. We offered great hospitality, delicious food, clothing and gear, equipment rentals, clinics and lessons and yurt stays. Cultivated strong relationships with our growing customer base by listening and responding making numerous improvements to the services we offered, business processes, and the facility including the restaurant and outdoor shop, employee cabins, yurts, trails and youth camps. Partnered with the Recreation District and the Forest Service to ensure the community owned resort was a success. Show less
