Currently implementing, coordinating and managing a legislative project, SB 847, with the goal of making the class action litigation information searchable on a website. Responsible for managing a weekly newsletter that collects information on policy events hosted public policy research institutions around the Capitol. Assists legislative clientele at State Library's Capitol office by answering questions and taking requests from Legislatures and Legislative staff. Under the supervision of a Staff Services Manager, I helped manage the California Grants Portal. I assisted in logging emails from state grantmakers who had questions about inputting information into the portal, as well as grantseekers about how to use the portal's search tools to find specific grant information. I drafted email responses to inquiries about feedback from grantmakers and grantseekers. I also tracked state entitties that had not reported the number of applications from their grants, as mandated by the legislature. Conducted research related to California legislation and history. Copy edited most public reports. Revised internship program and coordinated all interns from 2014 through 2020, which includes training in what to expect working for a State agency. Managed and coordinated conference room calendar and served as liaison between the Bureau and other state agencies. Managed all data for AB2494 Frivolous Actions web page. Show less
