I mentored Carleo Cana through the RIBA Student Mentoring programme 2020/21. Carleo was always enthusiastic, reliable and engaged throughout, attending on time to our sessions. He also demonstrated a keen interest in our work at MoreySmith Architects, asking interesting questions to broaden his knowledge and understanding of real-world architecture. I was impressed by his level of commitment to acquiring as much knowledge as possible, and also by his confidence and interpersonal skills. I would be happy to hire him in the future and believe that he will be a valuable asset to any practice as he has much to offer.
