  Camp Artaban Society runs a summer children's camp for 8 weeks located on Gambier Island. It has been in operation since 1923. I maintain involvement during the "off season" by volunteering for work parties and fundraising events. Each summer week is a different age group ranging from ages 7 to 17. From July 2006 to July 2009 I volunteered as a counselor looking after approximately 8 pre-teen girls ages 11-13 for a full week. From July 2010 to July 2012 I volunteered as a Craft session Leader with a fellow volunteer. Together we provided daily crafts for children ages 11-13.
