My job is in sales. I demonstrate various products from food item, cosmetics, to home goods, letting the customers try the products and telling them about the products. I get to give Tastes and Tips. I also frequently help customers find products, answer questions and preform some light janitorial work. My job is in sales. I supervised the cashiers under me, making sure they were on task and assisting the customers. I opened up the store, which included turning on the lights, counting the morning cash, filling balloon orders, and making sure the store was tidy and ready for business. I also closed, which included counting down my till, facing the store, putting away “go backs,” and light custodial work. I was knowledgeable about the products we carried and where they were located and helped stock product. I supervised the cashiers under me, making sure they were on task and assisting the customers. Inventory Associate

Mar 2005 - Apr 2008
My duties included counting many different kinds of stores, and handling many different kinds of products. I inventoried everything from Mervyn’s to Joann’s fabrics, Lowe’s and even inventoried the store house of the Gunnison State Prison. I helped my managers with their duties, sometimes leading a crew, sometimes helping them hang up inventory tags, searching for missing sections, re-inventorying sections that had mistakes, programming and setting up equipment, coming in early to inventory stock rooms and I was given sections that had to be counted very correctly, slowly and thoroughly. I was also given sections that were more challenging and tedious.
