Bio
Aaron Sparn
I am writing this letter to strongly recommend Carlee Gourlee. My name is Aaron Sparn, and I am a Senior Project Manager for Skanska in Cincinnati, Ohio. Carlee worked with us as an intern during the summer of 2019 on the Trihealth Western Ridge Expansion project. During her time with Skanska, Carlee performed several duties expected of an entry level project engineer and excelled beyond the usual expectation of a typical intern. Carlee proved to be diligent, self-motivating, have excellent communications skills, and a great attitude during her time at Skanska. Most impressive was her initiative, confidence, and willingness to jump into any task and perform at a high level. Carlee was a quick learner. She was able to learn new tasks and take ownership of them during her time at Skanska. One of Carlee’s great accomplishments was implementing a detailed document for owner furnished contractor installed (OFCI) items to help us track items in each room. The document, solely created by Carlee, was impressive and will become a best practice for the region on future projects. I am confident Carlee will excel as an intern and perform work expected of an entry level project engineer for any construction company. The combination of her ability to hit the ground running, her inherent intangible skills, and the experience she gained at Skanska will be valuable to any company. If you need more information please do not hesitate to contact me at 513-551-7776 or by email at aaron.sparn@skanska.com.
