I served as the Soccer Shots Director of the South / West region in Pittsburgh. This area encompasses the Mon Valley, Washington, Canonsburg, the South Hills, Bridgeville, Coraopolis, Robinson, McKees Rocks, Moon, Hickory, and everywhere in-between.As Director, I was the primary organizer and manager of all Soccer Shots operations in the South / West region, including summer camps; seasonal programs in private facilities such as day cares, preschools, and elementary schools; and seasonal public programs at parks, churches, sports facilities, etc. Duties include recruiting and scheduling; training new staff; account management; marketing and advertising; social media marketing; special event planning; coaching; sales; and customer service, among many other tasks. Soccer Shots, the premier intro-to-soccer program in the United States, is the leader in youth soccer development for children ages 2-8. We not only teach soccer skills, but also work on improving balance, coordination, and agility with the kids. Soccer Shots also uses the sessions to teach children important concepts such as teamwork, sharing and respect. We are mentors. We are coaches. We are changing the lives of young people forever by teaching principles and life skills like confidence, respect, honesty, and teamwork. We are a national organization of caring individuals positively impacting children’s lives through memorable and engaging experiences and the game of soccer.Soccer Shots was recently bestowed the honor of being named the #1 Children’s Fitness Program in America for 2016 by Entrepreneur Magazine.
