I have had the pleasure of working with Carla on multiple projects. What stands out when you’re working with Carla, is the additional time she takes in the needs analysis phase. She asks the right questions, and has exceptional active listening to get it right from the beginning. This saves time and money and makes a big difference in the final product.

Carla is a great contractor specialising within the digital learning space with whom I have worked with for over a year now. As a very reliable and competent contractor, we have received excellent feedback from our clients and she always does a great job!

Carla is the definition of creative which is what you really want when designing a course. The creativity goes beyond design, she has an eye for the best process for the learner. For someone like me who thrives on blue sky thinking, Carla helps with encouraging my inner child along with being practical and impactful. Worth every penny! My course is phenomenal

Having worked in the learning design industry for nearly a decade. I decided it was finally time to stand on my own two feet and do things my way. My business believes bespoke is best when it comes to training, and our clients fully support this. Why have generic training which will miss out things unique to your business, when instead, you can allow us to create custom materials from scratch - for you and you only! I recently took on a 3 month contract working as a Senior Instructional Designer for a local organisation Engage In Learning. In my daily duties I mainly conducted competitor research, content research and scripted design documents for e-Learning courses and post tests. I also worked face to face with clients on custom projects from beginning to end and took part in various course testing. Previously I worked as an Instructional Designer based in Bristol for Lockheed Martin. My daily duties included developing courseware using a systems approach to training and using LCMS authoring software Kenexa. I oversaw the development of lessons from start to finish, ensuring good communication was upheld between all involved. Took part in content research trips to sites across the U.K. such as Cranwell. Went on training trips to learn how to build DTT and CBT lessons from scratch. Took the lead in testing and in-house training of authoring software which was built within our team of talented individuals. And worked with very complex subject matter daily. The courseware I built is now used for aviation training within the RAF. I worked closely with SME's to ensure the content was technically correct and can be easily understood by its target audience. At any one time, I could have been working on 8 to 25 lessons, whilst taking up various other tasks. For this role I was also required to have SC Clearance. I left this role due to end of contract with MOD.

Before Lockheed I worked freelance creating e-Learning courses from scratch for the company Noodle Now! They provided me with the raw content for the courses. To which I provided them with a finalised high-quality course and assessment. Before Lockheed I worked freelance creating e-Learning courses from scratch for the company Noodle Now! I worked with Prospect Training Services in a very varied role titled as e-Learning developer. Unfortunately, I was made redundant alongside many other staff, due to the loss of a major contract within the organisation. However, during my time here I gained some invaluable experience and met some great people. I worked with Prospect Training Services in a very varied role titled as e-Learning developer. Prior to my work with PTS, I set up a small graphics design company to keep me busy whilst I searched for a more permanent role. During this time, I attended training with the Prince’s Trust, worked with clients face to face, found work for myself and learnt many new things. My small company from home was more of a hobby at the time and I gave it up when I started working for PTS. I also worked full time in a temporary role with the NHS e-Learning department for 12 months. In this role, I undertook a variety of tasks and assignments including filming safety videos, editing audio content and the creation of e-Learning graphics for our online courses.
