Under the auspice of one Tom McGrath - "i remember the day war broke out, my missus said to me ...." - who later sadly and cruelly passed away shortly into his retirement, Carl learned quickly the foundation and cornerstone of his career path. I was Working For Ashtead plant hire previous to this specialising in Plant and Tool. I returned to Aplant Specialising in Ground works, Formwork, Falsework ,Scaffolding and Formwork Accesories. I covered the hole of the Northwest including the isle of man, great people to work with apart from the odd power freak,enjoyed my time there and would never change what has happened since. Specialising in Formwork, Falswork, Scaffolding, Edge Protection, and many many other products at my time with George Roberts. I always enjoyed learning new products here as there was that much available, here i learnt most of my knowledge to do with formwork & Scaffolding, Tom McGrath was a big inspiration to me and was well known in the industry , he was the man who taught me what i know today and hopefully i will be passing it on so that other people can benefit from what he has done ( Cheers Tom, God Bless). George Roberts is a really good company and i enjoyed all the staff and my time there, i just has other plans and wanted to know alot more about different systems. I wish everyone there all the best for the future.
