  Carlis is Carl Emil Brønnum, a producer, and Josefine Hilfling, singer and lyricist. Carlis elusive and icy electronic pop explores dark, dreamy, and alluringly hypnotic areas of sound that is cinematic, but also danceable. Using old analog synths, samplers and drummachines beneath the puzzling, ethereal vocals, this duo creates a sort of lush, almost arctic, organic neo-disco with insistent pulse and shoegaze aesthetics.
