Elizabeth J. New

Carl was the Dean of Student Learning when I was at Central Carolina Community College. He was very instrumental in giving me the opportunity to gain experiences in a variety of different roles at the College. I began managing the Academic Assistance Center at the Harnett Campus, but was soon given the opportunity to teach Study Skills. Carl has an amazing ability to see the strengths in others and with that, saw my potential be a successful Recruiter. Great leaders see strengths in others. They give others the ability to utilize their strengths. Because of his ability to see potential in others, his general interest in individuals (both staff and students), and his positive demeanor, he is a great asset to any team or endeavor he choses to be a part of.

Michael Beck

Carl is passionate about helping students succeed. He is an energetic and compassionate leader who has earned the respect of his peers.
