My responsibilities are pretty clear within my role. I act as a server for the residents within the home. Before and after serving, we are responsible for setup and cleanup of the kitchen, as well as the dining room. As breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the few times the residents are given reason to leave their rooms, it is our job to make their meal an enjoyable time for them. This includes developing and guiding positive interactions or relationships with the residents to encourage their emotional well being. Show less

This internship was completed through a Sustainable Technologies class I was enrolled in at my high school. In the internship I collaborated with a group to evaluate a collection of maps, as well as residential and zoning information. Then used this to decide how to fix the maps and designed a rezoning plan for the city of Lowell. This strengthened my understanding of urban planning.
