The Product Content Manager is a critical business support role, focused on the day to day operations of driving innovation and proficiency in the content space. Specific responsibilities include: • Improve customers’ experience related to product content and drive consistency for the customer • Participate in the implementation and use of technologies that further enhance our ability to produce high quality content and deliver it to the business units faster • Build and maintain documentation of processes and tools for product content • Partner with Merchandising teams and vendors to increase sales in key product areas • Develop and work with relevant parties to implement new and more efficient processes for centralised item set-up and product content development systems and tools as well as interaction with merchandising and marketing processes • Improve quality, accuracy, and timelines of product content • Act as a point person for other teams regarding content issues • Manage the production of AU & NZ catalogues to agreed timelines. This requires the coordination from briefing to pre-press, including brand management, information consistency, legal approvals, photographic production, image sourcing, proof reading, printing, delivery and online publications • Review budgets matching monthly expenses and compare final expenditure with budgets. Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed customers’ expectations. Ensure the delivery and distribution of all print jobs is done on time and of the highest quality • Execute the tender process for all catalogues on an annual basis which includes formulating tender/contract information, negotiating with printers, final decision making and execution of the agreed outcome
