  After years of decrease in the city development, the municipality started a project to maintain a viable city centre. The main goal was to increase the number of businesses in the city centre and to make sure they were able to compete against the big shopping mall outside of the city. We worked together with the landlords and created a position as city manager. This to help market all the local shops and to increase the activity level and the cooperation between the shops. The municipality had good planning processes for new buildings and infrastructure in and around the city at this point, so the timing was good. The city centre became more viable. Show less

I worked in the local organisation for Nordland county where we worked with students from the age of 10 to University level.
