  Opened in 1977 in the heart of the civic center, the Los Altos History Museum is a highly successful community museum located about 30 miles south of San Francisco. The 1.36 acre Museum complex consists of a 1905 historic house furnished as an orchardist’s home in the 1930s, a modern 3-story 8,200-square-foot museum building, and outdoor agricultural displays next to a heritage orchard.• Develop, organize and communicate content for the new permanent exhibition, including original research, archival imagery, museum artifacts and digital assets. • Draft and revise all interpretive text and script.• Ensure consistency and clarity in organizational system for all deliverables. • Collaborate with Exhibit Design team and Asset Manager to ensure Images, artifacts, written content, and digital assets are captured in reference packages for exhibit fabrication.• Clarify focus of exhibition topics by identifying unifying themes.



Sonoma State University, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

  Supported by the Bernard Osher Foundation, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Sonoma State University (SSU) is among the first in a network of over 100 OLLI programs across the United States. Designed for adults 50 and older, OLLI at SSU is housed in the School of Extended and International Education, serving over 1,500 students each year through courses spanning a wide range of disciplines.• Recruited, hired, evaluated and managed 30+ faculty for 35 courses each year.• Secured over $3 million (including a single legacy gift of $2 million).• Managed annual budget of roughly $500,000.• Hired and supervised program staff at multiple campuses.• Galvanized fundraising efforts, including legacy gifts, annual giving, sponsorships, giving clubs, donor recognition events and stewardship. • Increased percentage of new students and overall enrollment figures.• Directed board development, policy, succession and planning.• Transitioned OLLI to a remote learning format to adapt to COVID-19 restrictions.

  Established in 1987 and housed at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CARE offers graduate courses, public programs, grants, and exhibitions in the Doug Adams Gallery. It is a nexus for the academic, arts and faith communities. Managed an annual budget of over $250,000.Founded and opened the Doug Adams Gallery in 2009.Developed and taught graduate seminars in Museum Studies and Food Studies.Oversaw advising and internship placement of all Museum Studies Students.Marketed all courses to target audiences on and off campus.Managed grants program for local, regional and national artists.
