Responsible for all HR services for corporate office of 65 people and 95 stores with 1000 plus associates. Three direct reports and partnered with all Executives in the coaching and development of their teams. Associate and customer satisfaction surveys were administered and followed up on to improve opportunity areas. The HR Department was successful in reducing assistant manager turnover by taking action on the learnings, which also strengthened the relationships of store management teams. We facilitated 40 plus regional and corporate training sessions, introduced and managed the development review process and succession plan model. I was innovative in providing new ways of training through conference call tutorials; reducing costs, improving content, increasing participation and enriched the skill level of more team members. I participated on numerous cross functional teams with sister divisions in North America improving standardization initiatives and bringing best practices to our businesses.

As a District Supervisor of a +$20M region, my teams continually increased comparable sales and produced strong profits by providing excellent customer service, controlling shrink, managing product assortment, controlling markdowns and executing visual presentation direction. The region had low turnover of people, internal readiness for promotions and great customer service results. I was successful in over 25 store openings and renovations in B.C. Alberta, Whitehorse and the Yukon. Took on additional responsibility supervising stores from a sister division reporting to two Director of Stores, sharing best practices and effectively representing two brands.
