Served in 1/149 Aviation Battalion at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base. Deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom 2006-07. Returned stateside and completed Officer Candidate School in 2009 and was appointed Platoon Leader. Ultimately was discharged, after nearly 10 years of service, for a food allergy. True story.
