A major gifts officer responsible for the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift donors for Texas A&M AgriLife; managing a portfolio of 200+ donors whose capacities range from $100,000 to $50M. Key focus is on engaging donors through out the continuum to secure major gift funding, creating compelling funding proposals, and developing unique stewardship plans for individual donors to encourage repeat gifts to Texas A&M AgriLife. Core competencies include organization and time management, timely donor follow-up, and a high regard of compassion to effectively build and maintain strong relationships with donors. The Texas A&M Foundation is the primary fundraising institution for Texas A&M University. In fiscal 2012/13, the Foundation provided more than $70 million in funding to Texas A&M University, raised $146.7 million and manages an endowment of $1.31 billion. Texas A&M AgriLife includes the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the largest of its kind in the U.S. with 7,500 students. It also includes the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service; Texas A&M AgriLife Research; Texas A&M Forest Service, and Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. Between them, the college and agencies represent 2300 employees and budgets exceeding $400 million.

Mays educates over 5,000 students in undergraduate and postgraduate programs and consistently ranks among the top public business schools in the nation. By building and maintaining a relationship with donors we worked together to match charitable donations to unique program opportunities within the Business School at Texas A&M. Worked with individuals, corporations, and foundations to allow them the opportunity to make a difference with their generosity through major gifts to endow student scholarships and fellowships, faculty professorships and chairs, and a variety of outstanding program support.

With over 750 total head of Braham cattle produced and 491 of these animals registered, Kallion Farms uses a scientific based approach and strict breeding program to ensure that their animals meet both the genotypic and phenotypic demands of their customers.

Worked directly with our clients both domestically and internationally to maximize the performance of their animals to meet their production needs, as well as ensuring all proper measures were taken to coordinate with USDA for the export of the end product globally. In an effort to assure that our facilities maintained Certified Semen Services Status (CSS), which is required for global export, led in the creation and implementation of a new herd health testing protocol that greatly contributed to the efficiency of the program working with Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory to ensure accuracy of testing and results. Established a data collection department within the company to serve all labs worldwide and led these four employees to achieve increased production at all locations.Sexing Technologies is a Genetics and Reproduction Company specializing in the collection and sexing of beef cattle semen. Sexing Technologies is the worldwide leader in sexed semen and embryo collection. The company is well known around the globe as one of the top sources for assistance in locating and exporting quality semen, embryos, and live cattle from the United States. While the home base is located in Navasota, TX, Sexing Technologies operates in over seven states and seven countries worldwide.
