  During my four months as HR intern I cycled between the recruitment, insurance and benefits, training and development, and generalist divisions. Due to this set-up my work included a wide range of tasks. I have great experience in processing paperwork for new hires, rehires, and terminations. I processed employee department transfers and the payroll and benefits adjustments that went along with that. I revamped a series of standard operating procedures for managers and created a money generating program expected to produce $50,000 in its first year of implementation. I created training presentations for new hire orientations in the topics of safety, diversity, and workplace harassment. I utilized the company's HRIS daily to complete many of the aforementioned tasks. Show less
