I worked with Capucine for several years at the International AIDS Society and although she worked in another division, we collaborated on projects together many times. She is dedicated, passionate and hard working and when she takes on a challenge, she takes it to the top! It was a pleasure and honour to see witness her professional and personal growth throughout the years and I can only recommend her.

So passionate, so professional and so effective, that is how I remember Marie-Capucine Penicaud. I worked closely with Marie Capuccine during all her five years at the IAS but more directly in 2010-2012 when she reported directly to me in her capacity as HIV Cure Project Manager. It never ceased to amaze me how much energy and trust she could build in her team, including among the world`s top-most HIV scientists! And she kept her eye on both the big pieces and the details of the project. The result is a very successful project, still going strong. Marie-Capucine would be great for any positions requiring outstanding project management, including planning, resource mobilization and coalition building.

The Hepatitis Fund is a new Swiss Foundation created in 2019 to take over the EndHep2030 programme from Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. The Fund will provide catalytic funding for viral hepatitis elimination in low-and-middle income countries. The Fund is guided by an advisory committee of viral hepatitis experts. Conceived in collaboration with the World Health Organization, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and many other partners, EndHep2030 has been incubated by ZeShan Foundation since 2016 with operating support and seed funding. Initial funding and in-kind support has also been provided by the CDC Foundation, John C Martin Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
