A Safe Helpline user can access one-on-one support, peer-to-peer support, information, resources and self-care exercises 24/7 to aid in their recovery. RAINN has operated Safe Helpline since its inception in 2011. The Vice President, Safe Helpline is responsible for setting the strategic vision for the program, in collaboration with DoD; managing all Safe Helpline services; communicating the program vision and goals to helpline staff; and ensuring that all users receive survivor-centered, trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and strengths-based services.

Since 2011, Safe Helpline has provided support and resources to the DoD community worldwide.
