I source and purchase all non inventory items. Office supplies and machinery, canteen and vending, medical, janitorial, packaging, production tools and machinery, sandpapers and building maintenance supplies. I am also in charge of all lawn care, and for the custodial for our buildings. I purchase, receive and approve all invoices before the are paid. I also type and assign all of the oh by the way cards that come in from our customers on how they believe we are doing as a company. I source and purchase all non inventory items. I started with the company working in our pleated shade department. At that time we only had 2 people in pleated shades. I later moved to the office and worked in customer service for a couple of years, before moving to data management, where I worked until 1994 when we were destroyed by a tornado and had to rebuild our company. I have learned many jobs here and love what I do today. I have been with Lafayette Venetian Blind since I was 18 and could not imagine working any where else.
