Projects: Louisville Medical Center Hotel & Extended Stay Apartments - Louisville, KY | Dream Hotel - Louisville, KY | Consulting for Hospitality, Residential, Commercial and Mixed-use Developments - Nashville, TN Served as lead architect on two of the largest hospitality projects in Louisville, KY. The Louisville Medical Center Hotel is a 250-key, $80 million new construction, and adaptive reuse development, designed around an existing historically significant church, bell tower, and sanctuary, all to be restored, preserved and integrated as architectural focal points to create a gateway into the existing healthcare campus. Proposed building materials included brick, stone, glass, and metal panel. During design development, the project was presented to the Landmarks Committee of The City of Louisville and earned unanimous approval. With support from the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s government, and related to the COVID-19 health crisis, the project is expected to move forward. The Dream Hotel is a 132-key, $39 million proposed development that will transform two existing historic buildings into a 10-story boutique hotel. Approved by The Dream Hotel Group, the design successfully integrated the owner's vision of a working boxing ring in the hotel’s lobby (to be connected to the Muhammad Ali Foundation), as well as a working gun range below grade. Working as an Independent Contractor within multiple organizations in an ongoing capacity, provided and assisted on a multitude of complex tasks. Generated construction drawings; led designs from schematics to construction administration; created presentational documents and 3D photorealistic renderings.
