Assitant Producer Intern (Those Two Girls)
-
Dec 2018 - May 2019
Being a part of the TTG creative and production team has been one of my favorite roles since joining the company. Being exposed to the show and the role of a producer has ultimately shaped what I want to do with my career. My responsibilities for the show include arriving to the station at 3am-4am for pre-show production meetings, planning out the show with the talent and guiding what they want to do with the show as well as provide my own input in the process as well as gathering interesting news for the girls. This also involved the collection and print out of stories and run sheets as well as running through how breaks went throughout the show and guiding future breaks. I was also required to answer calls coming through Phonebox and decide what listeners would make good radio. The editing of podcasts is also very simple to me as I have quite a bit of experience in this space.

Extremely interesting job as it has allowed me to learn an abundance of new skills and possess a wealth of new knowledge that I would otherwise not know. My responsibilities as a trainee panel operator involve controlling the broadcast panel that transmitted all content to radio's for shows such as Hamish and Andy as well as the AFL and NRL. This required me to learn a completely new skill set that allowed me to make important decisions for how content was transmitted during my shift.

Assistant Store Manager
-
Oct 2019 - Feb 2020
As an ASM I have expanded my skill set from a brand ambassador - especially visual merchandising and management skills. I am tasked with many responsibilities including stock take, store management, store hygiene and of course, selling the product. I have learnt varied amounts of skills from this job, most of all, how to manage a store and work as a unit.

Radio Journalist
-
Feb 2019 - Aug 2019
In February 2019, I began an Internship with a Current Affairs Radio Program called 'The Wire', this program airs on more than 40 radio stations across Australia including Brisbane's 98.1 FM (4EB). Working as a Radio Journalist, my role included consulting with the programs producer in regards to choosing a recent and newsworthy story to include in the program. I make phone calls to potential talent to interview. I prerecord my interviews and then use NewsBoss software in order to edit my pre-recorded material so that they sound appropriate to broadcast on radio.
