I had the pleasure of directing Camilla during her time with Bruce Power as Project Lead. I enjoyed my time working with Camilla and found her to be a truly valuable asset to various teams. She is reliable and incredibly hard-working. Aside from that, she has a demeanor which allows her to thrive in new situations and present to various levels within the operation. Her knowledge of processes and procedures and her effective communication skills made her a great project lead. I would be happy to have her on any of my teams in the future.

Camilla and I have worked on numerous group projects together, including the Capstone Project completed in the fourth year of the Lassonde Mineral Engineering program. Throughout these group work experiences, Camilla has always taken a leadership role in the group, organizing and coordinating group work to ensure we were able to produce high quality deliverables on schedule. This was especially evident as Camilla completed the economic analysis of the Capstone Project; she effectively communicated with the various team members to gather all of the information needed to complete the economic analysis, while working with tight deadlines. In addition to her communication and leadership skills, Camilla has excellent technical skills. This was shown in the first portion of the Capstone Project, which included geotechnical analyses, slope stability analysis and pit design. Our team was able to work collaboratively on these technical designs, and Camilla consistently contributed to the group discussion and problem solving process – and she was able to produce high quality final designs. Camilla’s combination of strong leadership skills and technical skills makes her an excellent team member, who can help coordinate and organize group tasks in order to achieve team goals while meeting strict deadlines.
