Experience

    • Curator and Special Projects Coordinator
      • Dec 2015 - Present

Curator and special projects coordinator at Centro Pecci, where I curated, organized, and served as editor of catalogs for several exhibitions such as Chiara Fumai. Poems I will never release 2007–2017 (2021), Formafantasma. Cambio (2021), Protext! When fabric becomes a manifesto (2020), co-curated with Marta Papini, Rirkrit Tiravanija: Tomorrow Is the Question (2019), Wiltshire Before Christ: Aries, Jeremy Deller, David Sims (2019), Jozef Robakowski: Nearer Farther (2017), among other projects. In 2016 – on the occasion of the reopening of the museum after a period of renovation and expansion of the original building – I followed the design and production phase of the exhibition The end of the world (2016-2017), the management of relationships with artists, lenders, collectors, galleries and institutions involved. The exhibition included, among others, works by Adel Abdessemed, Darren Almond, Kader Attia, Francis Bacon, Fayçal Baghriche, Rossella Biscotti, Björk, Kerstin Brätsch, Cai Guo-Qiang, Julian Charrière, Julius von Bismarck, Analivia Cordeiro, Hanne Darboven, Marlene Dumas, Jimmie Durham, Olafur Eliasson, Carlos Garaicoa, Camille Henrot, Thomas Hirschhorn, Polina Kanis, Tadeusz Kantor, Andrey Kuzkin, Volodymyr Kuznetsov, Suzanne Lacy, Ahmed Mater, Boris Mikhailov, Henrique Oliveira, Agsnieska, Pavlenska, Pavlenska Qiu Zhijie, Fari Shams, Santiago Sierra, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Andrzej Wróblewski, David Zink Yi. In 2015 I conceived and coordinated the TU35 Geographies of Emerging Art in Tuscany, an ongoing mapping project that was subsequently followed up in the 2016 and 2017 editions. Show less
