      • May 2019 - Dec 2021

In this position, I followed the production of different series all of which had their own requirements. From big brands like Peppa Pig, where the standards in quality are linked to a high volume of copies for multiple customers, to Spot titles which often print using the colour-sensitive original artwork by Eric Hill. I also worked on large series of mono titles for the Education list which asked me to provide flexible schedules over a long period of time in order to allow my colleagues the flexibility necessary to make sure all issues were fixed before the titles hit the press. Alongside my front list titles, I handled orders for foreign publishers and non-trade customers, where I was requested to despec existing projects, produce gift-editions and to set up costs for multiple format options. As a controller I also followed the conversion of ebooks both for colour and mono titles and I handled part of the PRH Children's Audio list

During my seven months of working as an assistant within the Ladybird team, I have been in charge of a wide range of UK reprints and co-edition orders for foreign publishers. While learning new processes and systems, my main tasks in this role were: to effectively follow the reprint process of a wide range of titles, from standard board books to sound and tactile books, to work with our Rights and Sales teams to complete their clients’ requests and to support my production team running and circulating reports and processing admin tasks.
