Workshop promoted by the Collective Planning and Design of the Interateneo Department of Science, Project and Land Policy (DIST). The workshop aimed to provide insight into a "good practice" of urban regeneration and planning in a european context. The activity took place with a series of meetings at the offices of the Grand Lyon, Urbalyon at the Agence d'urbanisme pour le dèveloppement de l'agglomération lyonnaise. The aim of the workshop was to give rise to a critical reflection on the key themes discussed during the period in France, such as: historic centre; the metropolitan area and its government; open spaces and the green system; urban regeneration of the banlieues; and start a constructive debate on the comparison of the reality of Lyon from the italian and international. Workshop promoted by L.a.q. of the Politecnico di Torino for the development of participatory processes for the transformation of urban spaces. The workshop took place in San Mauro Torinese (TO), into the metropolitan area of Turin and emphasized a different approach, through the use of a participatory process, in order to involve citizens in the project development phase and with the aim of giving an identity to the historic center and continuity with the surrounding area. The work ended with an exhibition in the Column Hall of the Polytechnic of Turin and with a subsequent presentation in the Hall of the Municipal Council of San Mauro Torinese. Show less
