      The founding executive officer of the Connecticut Multiple Listing Service (CTMLS), Cameron focused the MLS on providing subscibers with the most accurate, comprehensive, and timely real estate information possible. As Co-Chief Executive Officer of SmartMLS, Cameron represented over 17,000 real estate professionals covering all eight Connecticut counties, making it among the top twenty largest MLSs in the country. Until the successful merger Cameron engineered between the Connecticut MLS and the Fairfield County MLS, the Connecticut MLS was the largest MLS in Connecticut with 11,000 subscribers and the primary MLS for seven of the eight Connecticut Counties. Through cooperative agreements, Connecticut MLS subscribers may access listing data in the Westchester-Putnam MLS, the Rhode Island Statewide MLS, the Northern New Enlgand Real Estate Network (Vermont & New Hampshire combined MLS), and numerous other locations around the country. Listings of CTMLS subscribers can also be seen by the Realtor subscribers of the cooperating MLSs. Cameron proactively identified emerging technologies that would assist subscribers to the MLS or otherwise affect the real estate industry and was an early adopter and proponent of MLS consolidation and syndication.
