While studying in Dundee I worked in popular restaurant and late night bar. I enjoyed working in the hospitality industry and it was a privilege to work in a fantastic team and fast paced environment. The position let me exercise my strengths of great interpersonal skills and reliability working under pressure. While studying in Dundee I worked in popular restaurant and late night bar. Software UX Designer
-
Sep 2015 - Apr 2017
The role was primarily user-experience based with a side focus of graphic design. The projects included work for mobile, web and desktop applications. My primary responsibility was to design for a large scale WPF application where I provided support through requirements gathering, wireframing, prototyping, creation of high fidelity designs and coauthored two style guides. I then worked closely with developers to ensure usability and visual standards were met. While at V.Group I worked in internal teams, with external teams and individually. Including acting as lead designer for an international 40+ person team for six months. The role allowed me to gain valuable experience working on a large scale, multi-year project. Collaborating with consultants in the US, an external design & development team in India and stakeholders across various countries at an early point in my career was invaluable. This helps me to conduct myself in similar situations with confidence and experience.
