  Worked as a fire and security engineer for this company brieflyI learned a lot and I still find my self very lucky to have had the opportunity to work for this company.Its a great little company if not with its faults.Being family run has a lot of in house drama and the engineers are not paid well for there efforts sadly.However they will make sure you know what you are doing and they respect there employees who show the effort and initiative.

  I managed to get an apprenticeship with IDS Fire and Security and I can honestly say I feel very privileged to have got to learn form such a good company. With a wide range of engineers for me to shadow I learnt the best bits of each of them.They sent me to college once a week and gave me any training courses I needed.I started of on install of big building sites they made sure i had all of the certificates I needed all of the PPE and a mentor with me at all times.Must say a… I managed to get an apprenticeship with IDS Fire and Security and I can honestly say I feel very privileged to have got to learn form such a good company.
