I provide training and outdoor pursuits for private and corporate clients. I hold the RCI (Rock Climbing Instructor) and the ML (Mountain Leader Award), both Nationally recognised qualifications. I hope to branch out into school-based outdoor pursuits, such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme, during my time as a teacher. PGCE - Distinction with 60 credits of MA study. 2 school placements at The Ridgeway School and Chew Valley School. Areas of study for MA elements included: SEN investigations into removing barriers for learning for students with ASD, the value of 'talk' and oral presentations at KS5, and the role 19th Century texts at KS3 can play in developing literacy and student intrigue in English. I worked part time at Brooklea Health Centre, Brislington, Bristol. My role lay in coding and amending patient data from outgoing and incoming electronic and paper correspondance between various medical bodies in the south Bristol area. Good time management and workplace communication was required given the burgeoning workloads. It was both stimulating and challenging to work efficiently in a field in which I had no prior experience. I unfortunately have had to suspend this work in lieu of my academic studies in September 2019. Show less
