I worked at the haven program in the Piscataway public schools district that is funded by and overseen by Rutgers GSAPP. I was given a caseload of clients from the ages of 8-17. I gained skills in creating treatment plans, implementing intervention styles, building rapport with clients, creating and maintaining goals in therapy, and working with children and their families. I was also able to co-facilitate a LGBTQIA+ support group. I worked at the haven program in the Piscataway public schools district that is funded by and overseen by Rutgers GSAPP.
