Cornwall, England, United Kingdom After returning to BAU with Jobline Staffing I maintained a brief handle on our COVID project and I was contacted to request that I take a lead again as the project was losing traction with return of resources to BAU. By returning to the post I gave the project guidance, structure and managed the process to improve throughput and efficiency.

The role required me to take charge and set up processes, a team and manage this throughout. I was able to get this process set up ahead of schedule and in addition to this I was also able to maximise efficiency above expectation. • I was the first employee within Cornwall Council and the wider group to have permission to utilise MS Forms externally; this allowed me to fully automate the process whereby care providers in the County made their requests for support. This was achieved by having a 24/7 feed from the web form into an Excel spreadsheet and by setting some key questions, priority codes were self-allocated, thus drastically reducing required man hours for data entry and triaging. • I procured a group email box whereby any demand required from the group or the public could be directed to ensure the team can facilitate all requests. • I also procured an automated phone line whereby a message can be left that would feed directly into the group inbox and actioned by a member of the team directly from their laptops. • I had to remotely lead a team of 5 workers all from differing backgrounds within the Council without ever meeting them in person. • I took the lead on mapping out the process whereby a provider would make a request for assistance and the continuing workflow required for this to be actioned as required. Once in place, I maintained and upgraded this throughout, ironing out any potential issues before they arose. • I resourced a team of drivers from within the group of companies to provide urgent delivery of PPE and food around the county both on a scheduled and Adhoc basis. • I negotiated exclusive rates with agencies to ensure our charge rate to providers remained as minimal as possible in these drastic times. • I conducted a daily sit-rep with the team to ensure all was running smoothly and any issues were ironed out effectively.
