I have had the pleasure of working with Cam Hogue since he first joined Triumph Composite Systems. He successfully lead the implementation of several pieces of new equipment and launched several new products while in the position of R&D lead. Through Cam’s leadership of the R&D group, it became evident that he not only possessed a great skill for both interpersonal and technical leadership, but also an in-depth knowledge of business assessment and relationship development skills. As a result, Cam moved into a position within the Business Development group and quickly became a cornerstone to our new technology development and acquisition team. Cam is one of the most talented and knowledgeable engineers and leaders I have had the pleasure of work with in my career.

I worked closely with Cameron in the 18 months I spent at Triumph. Cameron was the lead R&D engineer for his facility and despite working remotely from each other, we had productive daily interactions to plan, coordinate and execute customer engagement and proposal activity. Cameron's experience extends beyond his engineering focused responsibilities and was an invaluable team member in assisting the business development team in analyzing and developing high win probability opportunities for the organization. Cameron's work was always reliable, accurate and integral to my success in my role at Triumph.

From 2012-2015, I served as Lead Engineer for developing the latest North American heavy haul locomotive at GE Transportation. Specifically, this effort consisted of collecting and analyzing locomotive cooling system performance data; defined requirements for mechanical cooling components to meet design requirements prior to the locomotive launch in 2015. Additional cost reduction efforts were a major focus in the later stages of development to satisfy overall program cost requirements.• Led team of five engineers testing/validation component levels for engine cooling subsystem.• Added $15K of value to product line by improving cooling design which reduced system power input requirements and saved fuel consumption.• Used Unigraphics to develop new packaging layouts for improved cooling system design.• Removed $70,000 in costs per unit by leading effort on locomotive build for engine cooling subsystem by utilizing alternate suppliers and heat exchanger designs.
