  - Designed and developed several multimillion dollar projects which included:o Project scheduling, critical path analysis, environmental, utility and right of way coordination, specification development, cost estimating, plan compiling, FHWA project review, and project advertisement.o Selection of sizes of monotube structures, light standards, camera poles, fold over towers, foundations, caissons, and conduit bridge attachments based on AASHTO, FHWA, MUTCD, CDOT, and many other standards.o Design of erosion control plans, and power requirements for ITS devices.- Managed and inspected of several multi-million dollar construction projects along state highways, which included:o Contract management, contractor management, prevailing wage review and compliance, OJT and DBE review, submittal and shop drawing approvals, MHT approvals, force account billing, change order development, and project closure.o Inspection of caisson installation according to CDOT’s standards, structure compliance and installation.o Brokered agreements with railroads, ditch companies, and various other utilities for fiber expansion.- Experience with all aspects of the ITS device and network design and installation, including nearly 200 miles of fiber optic cable, over 100 Ciena Ethernet switches, several CWDM fiber networks, over 100 cameras, and dozens of weather stations, dynamic message signs, variable message sign controller upgrades, wavetronix radar detectors, and travel time indicators.- ITS lead on three major highway widening projects and contributing member of the ITS Standard Specifications and Details committee. - Managed consultant schedules and time to effectively aid in the design and construction of ITS projects.- Trained in CDOT’s project administration/construction management system, proposal and estimate system, payroll compliance, MicroStation, traffic control, erosion control programs, and familiarity in TIMS incident management.
